EditReady, ScopeBox and ClipWrap macOS 10.14 Mojave support

On September 24th, Apple released macOS 10.14 Mojave. We wanted to write a quick blog post outlining Mojave support in divergent media apps, and our plans going forward.

We have extensively tested EditReady, ScopeBox, and ClipWrap; and can confirm all three are working in macOS 10.14. Please make sure you are running the newest versions of our apps before upgrading to Mojave.

You may notice a dialog on first launch of the apps stating the application is “not optimized for your Mac and needs to be updated.” This warning appears for all 32bit applications the first time they are launched in Mojave. The dialog is a result of our support for legacy QuickTime codecs. We are aware of the issue, and have a roadmap in place to update ScopeBox and EditReady. We have no plans to update ClipWrap, and are encouraging all ClipWrap users to cross grade to EditReady. You can read more about our 64bit transition in this earlier blog post.
